QUEBECY CITY, QUEBEC - After establishing a 4-0 lead in the fifth inning, the Brockton Rox held on for a 6-5 victory over the Quebec Capitales, to earn a four-game split on Thursday night at Le Stade Municipal.

This game marked the final regular-season matchup between the two ballclubs, and it did not settle much, as the teams split the year's 20 matchups evenly at ten wins apiece.

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC - The Brockton Rox defeated RHP Eric Gagne and the Quebec Capitales 4-3 on Wednesday night in Quebec City and officially sealed a return to the playoffs for the first time since 2006.  Gagne battled with Rox starter RHP Wayne Lundgren in a refreshing pitchers’ duel after Tuesday night’s 27-run debacle.

BROCKTON, MA - RHP Freddy Flores was brilliant for a second consecutive outing, and the Rox offense jumped out to five runs in the first three innings to earn a share of first place with a 6-1 victory over Quebec.  The win sets up a Thursday night rubber match to determine a clear first-place team.

BROCKTON, MA - The Brockton Rox eight-game win streak came to an end on Tuesday night as the Quebec Capitales stormed into Brockton and knocked around 17 hits in a 9-4 win at Campanelli Stadium.

The Capitales arrival to the ballpark was delayed due to unavoidable travel complications, and caused a delay of over an hour and a half.  However Quebec did not seem to miss a beat, jumping out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning against Rox starter RHP Wayne Lundgren.

AUGUSTA, NJ - Brockton Rox starter RHP Freddy Flores was fantastic in a complete-game effort, and the Rox offense tallied 19 hits as Brockton completed a five-game sweep, 13-2, over the Sussex Skyhawks on Thursday night at Skylands Park.

Flores earned his fourth win of the year while allowing just two earned runs on six hits over the full nine innings.  He surrendered both runs and three of the six hits in the ninth inning.  Flores added four strikeouts against just one walk on the night.

AUGUSTA, NJ - Reigning Can-Am League Pitcher of the Week RHP Wayne Lundgren baffled the Sussex Skyhawks over the first seven innings of Wednesday night’s 8-4 win for the Rox.  Lundgren extended a streak of scoreless innings to 16, before surrendering four runs in the eighth.

AUGUSTA, NJ - Brockton Rox starter RHP Jeff Long retired 15 of the first 17 batters he faced while his offense racked up five runs on 14 hits and the Rox defeated the Sussex Skyhawks at Skylands Park on Tuesday night.

Campanelli Stadium will be welcoming a very special guest to Brockton on Saturday, September 5th!  Jennie Finch, a Silver-medalist in the 2008 Summer Olympics and a Gold-medalist in the 2004 Summer Olympics as a member of Team USA Softball, will be giving a skills demonstration and will be signing autographs at the Rox game!

Finch, widely known as the most recognized softball player in the world, is the newest spokesperson for On Deck Sports, which is a Brockton-based wholesale baseball and softball equipment supplier.

AUGUSTA, NJ  - After a disappointing home stand, the Brockton Rox kicked off an eight-game, seven-day road trip with a double header sweep over the Sussex Skyhawks on Monday night with wins of 6-5 and 7-2.

BROCKTON, MA - Brockton starter RHP Wayne Lundgren dazzled a Campanelli Stadium crowd of 4,667 and dealt hit second complete-game shutout of the season as the Rox defeated the Worcester Tornadoes, 3-0, on Friday evening in the City of Champions.

Lundgren, who now leads the league with five complete-game efforts for the year, allowed seven hits with six strikeouts while walking none.  He threw 108 pitches over the full nine innings in improving his record to 6-5.
